Media stories about war and terrorism has warped the way perceive the Arabic culture. This misconception is sure to continue as long as the world is exposed to media stories about Islamic extremism.
As a consequence, the Arabic language has been discriminated and feared when spoken or read in public in western countries.  

To raise awareness about the negative perception of the Arabic language around the world, Amnesty International presents: Messages of Peace. An eye-opening guerrilla campaign that shows how western countries fear and recognise Arabic as an extremist language.In case people decide to rip off the posters from the wall, the real meaning will be revealed behind.
